At Little Sprouts, children learn and grow in nurturing, developmentally appropriate classrooms designed for each stage of early childhood. Our weekly tuition includes full-day care, meals and snacks, classroom learning experiences, outdoor play, and participation in the broader Mill Street Market community.

Our Classrooms
- Infants: Our infant classroom provides a warm, responsive environment centered on secure relationships, individualized care, movement, sensory exploration, and early communication.
- Toddlers: Our toddler classroom encourages language development, independence, social-emotional growth, active play, and hands-on discovery.
- Early Preschool: Our early preschool classroom helps children strengthen routines, communication, self-help skills, friendships, and confidence as they prepare for the preschool years.
- Preschool: Our preschool classroom supports kindergarten readiness through play-based literacy, early math, science, creativity, movement, problem-solving, and cooperative learning.
Classroom placement is based on each child’s age and development, licensing requirements, and available classroom space.
Making Childcare More Accessible
Little Sprouts is committed to helping families access dependable, high-quality childcare. Families may be eligible for support through:
- Michigan Child Development and Care assistance
- Employer-sponsored childcare contributions
- DuoShare employer partnerships
- Community-supported tuition assistance, when funding is available
Eligibility and assistance amounts vary by program and available funding.
Michigan Tri-Share
Little Sprouts also plans to participate in Michigan Tri-Share, a state program that may allow eligible employees to share childcare costs with their employer and the State of Michigan. Participation will begin after Little Sprouts is licensed and approved as a participating provider.
Enrollment Information
Little Sprouts is planned to open in early 2027, serving children from infancy through preschool.
Join our interest list to receive updates about enrollment timelines, classroom availability, tours, and next steps. A $25 nonrefundable fee is required to submit the form. If your child enrolls at Little Sprouts, the $25 will be applied toward the registration fee. Completing the interest form does not guarantee enrollment or placement in a specific classroom.

Nature-Based Playground
Little Sprouts is partnering with Michigan-based Nature Playscapes to create a custom, nature-rich playground designed to encourage exploration, creativity, movement, and connection with the outdoors. The space will include age-appropriate areas for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, along with features such as a greenhouse and grow spaces, music meadow, mud table, climbing elements, and open lawn. Nature Playscapes brings expertise in childcare playground design, accessibility, safety, and natural materials, helping ensure the playground is engaging, inclusive, and aligned with applicable CPSC, ASTM, ADA, and Michigan childcare licensing requirements.
