Little Sprouts Childcare
Located in Hastings, Michigan, Little Sprouts provides high-quality childcare for infants through preschool. Our program is designed to nurture the whole child, supporting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in a safe, engaging environment.

Thank you for your interest in Little Sprouts Childcare at Mill Street Market. Our planned opening is in early 2027, with a more specific opening date to be shared as construction progresses and the childcare licensing process moves forward.
Families who complete the interest form will receive updates about enrollment, classroom availability, tours, and next steps. All interested families will be contacted no later than December 2026.
A $25 nonrefundable fee is required to submit the form. If your child enrolls at Little Sprouts, the $25 will be applied toward the registration fee. Completing the interest form does not guarantee enrollment or placement in a specific classroom.
Staff Hiring
Our goal is to post positions beginning in late October or November 2026. We will be hiring a Registrar/Assistant Director, Lead Teachers, Teachers, and floaters, and we will also be accepting volunteers. Watch our Facebook, the website, and Indeed for updates.

Active Lifestyles
Daily outdoor time, movement-based activities, and motor skill development help children stay active and engaged.
Farm & Food Engagement
As part of the Mill Street Market Campus, children experience hands-on learning that connects them to local food and agriculture. Activities may include visits from local farmers, simple gardening projects, and learning where food grows.
Play-Based Learning
Young children learn best through play. Our program blends structured and unstructured play to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and social development while meeting age-appropriate learning milestones.
Healthy Eating
Children receive nutritious, balanced meals and snacks featuring fresh, whole foods. We introduce a variety of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to help children develop healthy habits from the start.
Childcare Support Through Employers
Many families access tuition support through DuoShare, our employer partnership program. DuoShare allows local businesses to contribute toward employee childcare costs, making high-quality care more accessible and affordable.
