Information and Opportunities
MSM is partnering with Argus Farm Stop to help interested farmers, producers, entrepreneurs, and small business operators learn more about the Farm Stop Market and Café and what it will offer to the Hastings community.
The information sessions will share:
- How the Farm Stop consignment and dedicated farmer percentage of sales models work
- Our build and development timeline – how to join us for launch!
- How to get involved – products, prepared foods, and produce we are looking to source
- Other sales channel opportunities the facility will offer over time – market and café sales, aggregation for commercial sales, online sales, farmer's market sales
- Our planned services and offerings in the facility (Storage, Kitchen space, Retail, Café, and More)
We are also looking to learn – we'd love to know more about:
- What produce or crops do you grow or have for sale?
- What products do you produce (value-added products, packaged products, prepared foods)?
- What seasonal calendar do you have items available during?
- Where else will you be selling your items (other locations, other partnerships, other events)?
- Do you need access to a licensed commercial kitchen or storage space to support your business?
- Do you hold any existing certifications or licenses for your business or farm operation?
* While construction is underway, we are eager to speak with farmers throughout the state of Michigan, small product producers, and entrepreneurs interested in having their products available in retail and/or our online offerings!
